Meet the Stûv 6‑in 86×60, the larger sibling in the Stûv 6‑in family, crafted for hearths that can accommodate a wider firebox. It retains the iconic “6” shaped internal profile for natural airflow and minimal insert footprint—yet offers an even more expansive flame-viewing experience
Measuring approximately 86 cm wide by 60 cm high, this model fits comfortably into larger masonry openings, preserving existing fireplace architecture while delivering standout aesthetics and performance
Heat output: Nominal around 7 kW, with a usable range up to 11 kW, suitable for heating areas up to (~130 m²)
Efficiency: Rated around 68 %, maintaining high eco‑performance
Emissions: Very low fine particle output, on par with other Stûv 6‑in models (~1.8–1.9 g/h)
Automatic air regulation: The built‑in bi‑metal system controls combustion air for reliable ignition and steady burn—no manual damper fiddling required
Cast‑iron firebox: Designed for durability and thermal stability, ensuring long‑term performance
Clean‑view glass: Airflow across the viewing pane minimizes soot buildup for uninterrupted flame visibility
Support casing: Lightweight casing simplifies insertion into hearth cavities
Flue options: Available with vertical or 45° angled 6″ flue connection, adaptable to various flue runs
External air kit: Optional connection to outside air (via bottom or rear), ideal for sealed or highly insulated homes
Frames: Choose from thin-edge or picture-style frames and multi‑side options for a precise visual finish
