Stûv 21‑135 SF Single‑Sided Wood Fireplace

Elegant Fire with Frameless Retractable Glass

Introducing the Stûv 21‑135 SF, the largest model in the Stûv 21 series and standout in modern architectural fireplaces. Its frameless guillotine glass door retracts fully for an unobstructed, open-fire ambiance, or closes seamlessly for efficient combustion—all while delivering the widest fire view in the Stûv lineup.

Perfect for Grand Hearth Installations

With a required recess of approximately 1350 mm W × 1040 mm H × 500 mm D, this model accommodates generous masonry or clad surrounds and can be installed flush or with proprietary cladding systems.

Wide-View Streamlined Fire Experience

• Viewing glass area: Roughly 1170 mm × 400 mm , offering the widest visual aperture among Stûv 21 models.

• Flexible fire modes: Slide the glass up for open-hearth ambiance, partially open for blended warmth and ambiance, or closed for radiant heat control.

Exceptional Heating & Environmental Performance

Detailed specifications are fewer than for smaller models, but Stûv’s 21 series 135 SF outputs around 18 kW nominal  and efficiencies of ~77%—with similarly low fine particle emissions expected for the 135 model.

Refined Features and Maintenance Ease

• Full retractable glass with tilt-forward cleaning position: Effortless access for glass and seal maintenance via internal hearth access.

• Minimalist frame design: Only a slender steel edge defines the firebox, allowing maximum visual fire surface.

• Natural convection system: Maintains optimal burn chamber temperature while gently distributing warm air into the room—no fan needed.

Installation Flexibility & Accessory Options

• Cladding and fascia finishes: Choose between flush wall installations or elegantly surfaced cladding options in custom colors and materials.

• Optional external air kit: A Ø6″ duct directly supplies combustion air into the unit—ideal for highly insulated, airtight homes.
